Pokemon Red: Level 100 Mew glitch
Some of these glitches can be doing things beyond game codings. So this glitch you can trigger it at very early parts of the Game. However, due to the use of unsigned integers, the game interpreted this value as 16, experience points. So if you try this glitch with a Bulbasaur, it'll turn into a level Ivysaur, not a level Venusaur. But, hey—that's the trade-off you get for fully leveling a Pokemon, a glitch you can pull off before you even reach the first gym.
They are Nidoking, Gengar, and Ivysaur. First thing you need to know is to not battle Brock and this trainer in Viridian Forest:. If you are playing in Blue, there is a 5 Percent chance you run into a Weedle, or a previous trainer in the forest has a Weedle so you can get poisoned from him. Now that we are poisoned, this glitch will be a lot easier. Walk up to this space and save. One tile below the trainer.
Your goal, is to encounter a Pokemon in front of the trainer. If he starts to battle you, restart at your save point, and try again. This is easy in Virtual Console to reset. Just tap the bottom screen, and then hit reset.
Once you finally run into a Pokemon in front of this trainer, you need to black out. That's why you should have got poisoned.

If you didn't poison yourself, hope that Metapod or Kakuna has tackle. You will know this glitch is starting to work when you see this after you black out.
